We are in Family Reunion Mode! We are leaving tomorrow as soon as our son gets out of school to head to my husbands annual Mother's Day Family Reunion. This is the 51st! I am so ready! We have not gone anywhere since before Christmas! For my family, this is like an eternity! I can't wait to get away from the normal routine and relax!
I have started reading a book, which lately is a rarity. I haven't read anything since the last Harry Potter book. It is "The Kite Runner". It is very good and it is hard for me to put down! I look forward to not having to put it down during the next few days.
I hope I have lots of good pictures to post. I am in charge of taking pictures at the Golf Tournament and the campfire. Hopefully my camera will do a good job!
Pray that we all have a safe trip to and from the reunion! As my Mother always said at the beginning of our trip, "God be with Us!" I will be back on Tuesday!

I'm surprised that you didn't say how "special" this reunion is to you. :) Are you the historian for the reunion too - what a great idea for a picture taker! :) Have lots of fun at the big, big beach!
Great book! We read that in Book Club a few months back. Definately a page turner. Can't wait to hear what you thought!
I just got thru reading A Thousand Splendid Suns by the same author. I can highly recommend that one too.

Yes, God be with you! Enjoy your time together. Something tells me you won't get much reading done though - fight for your rights! They chose the right photographer.
