Well it has been a little more than a week since I officially started taking Alli. I started a week ago last Friday. I was a bit aprehensive about taking it because of what I have heard about it. Luckily I can say that I have not had any adverse treatment effects. I have been very cautious about how much fat I have been eating and I believe that this has helped. I think I am starting to get into a rhthym of things but I can see that I need to start branching out so that I do not get bored.I have lost a total of 9 pounds. This is since January 28th, so that works out to about 4.5 pounds per week! I think this is pretty good. I will only have to keep going for 2 years to get to where I want to be. Well not quite two years, but close. I will have to keep praying and taking it one day at a time.
I think one of the best things that I have done is taking lunch and snacks to work. This has kept me from getting so hungry that I eat everything in sight. I have been doing the Healthy Choice lunches or something similiar. Apples, carrots, yogurt and pretzels have replaced Geta, McDonalds and the like. I feel better and would probably have more energy if I wasn't burning the candle at both ends because of work. At least I have not let the stress get to me like I used to.
I think that the Alli has helped me because I don't dare eat something that I shouldn't. I would be mortified if I had to rush to the bathroom while interviewing a client! I will keep taking it just for that reason if it continues to work for me. I just need to branch out and look for lowfat reciepes so that the whole family is eating the same thing.

That is AWESOME! Keep up the good work! Don't forget to use the "net" for recipe ideas: weightwatchers.com, allrecipies.com, etc.. Maybe try one a week. Keep us updated!
Wow, you have discipline - keep it up! This is how we're supposed to be doing it in the first place. I need to learn. I remember Mom saying "discipline sets you free." It is true and probably why I feel like I'm a slave to cravings, hunger, energy lows... Make sure you go to bed early - I saw that you were up before the crack of dawn again, 4:30 was it? Whew.
Great news on the side affects :)
