Sprinklers

The weather forecast called for extreme heat this weekend. It was 104 degrees today and it is going to be hotter tomorrow. Oh Yeah!

So yard work was done early this morning, while it was still tolerable. Afterwards the kids wanted to play in the sprinklers. It wasn't even noon but it felt so good. The backyard was shaded and with the sprinklers on it was really quite pleasant. It was nice just relaxing and watching the kids play.

It was funny they both wanted to leave their t-shirts on. My daughter got the snow sled out and was pretending that she was surfing. She did end up "surfing" when she fell on her behind from all the silly dancing she was doing.
It is so nice that they are still small enough to share a chair and young enough to still want too! It makes me happy when I see them get along so well.

Our little Lila Girl enjoys the kids being outside with her. Now that it is so hot, they don't go out for as long of a period, but my daughter loves going out to play with her still. It is almost always the first things she does when she wakes up in the morning.

While they were taking a rest from all the sprinkler fun, I had fun taking pictures of them. It is funny how they will sit and keep talking to me even though I have the camera in front of my face.

It doesn't look like it from these pictures, but my son was having a good time and he wasn't upset.
After enjoying the sprinklers we went to see UP. My sweet son cried at the beginning and the end of the movie. He is so sentimental and matters of the heart always pull on him. I hope he always has such a kind heart.

Happy Birthday Honey!

Today is my husband's 45th birthday. May God bless him with at least 45 more!

The Truth?

By now most people know that the truth about April Rose is uncertain. I do not know what the truth is or if there is even a kernel of truth to the story that I have been following since late April. On Sunday I was consumed by the "birth" of this little baby and what her fate was. I prayed and shed tears for this child and for the family. On Monday morning I checked first thing to see if she was still alive. By Monday afternoon I was beginning to wonder if I had been had. Today, I know that more than likely I have been.

But were my prayers wasted? I don't think so. This girl B or Beccah needs prayers. Someone that goes to this much detail to get attention or deceive people obviously needs lots of prayers. So I will continue to pray for them and I will be more careful next time. Not in praying for people but for letting my emotions and my blogging take away from my family!

April Rose

Please pray for April Rose. She was born yesterday afternoon at 2:48pm with Trisomy 13 and another problem. She was not expected to be born alive, but as of this morning, she is still here! Pray for her young parents and that God's will be done.

The Dr's told her numerous times to terminate the pregnancy and in the later stages to induce if they wanted a chance to see their daughter born alive. They never waivered and they allowed April to be born in God's time. Now they are being blessed with time to enjoy their sweet little one.

They must be exhausted from laboring all night and then enjoying their little girl all day and most likely all night. They were praising God for every hour of her life, something that I should remember to do!
